After Fabergé - Jonathan Monaghan at the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore, MD 12 Nov 2017 thru 24 June 2018

Jonathan Monaghan, Assistant Professor at the Catholic University Department of Art has an exhibition at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. His show, After Fabergé, runs concurrently with Fabergé and the Russian Crafts Tradition at the Walters. Speaking of the influence of the Walters and the Fabergé eggs, Monaghan says, "After I arrived at the University of Maryland for graduate school, the first place I went to was the Walters. I saw the Fabergé eggs and I was blown away by the level of craft and detail; they take on an almost otherworldly presence."
